Deeper into understanding.
Deep Diving will guide you through planning deeper dives, their risks and working with equipment. The aim of the speciality is training to the 40-metre limit when the relevant conditions are met.

Familiar water after dark.
Night & Limited Visibility adds work with a torch, orientation and teamwork with your buddy after dark or in limited visibility. You can complete both courses separately, in any order.

Two specialisations. More experience.
Once both specialisations are completed, you receive their certifications. SSI Specialty Diver recognition is added once you reach at least 12 logged dives; you can make up any missing dives later as well.

What you should know
- Equipment hire is charged separately. The package offer states a 10% discount on equipment hire; please confirm any different mention in the old FAQ with the school.
- Admission fees, local charges and cylinder fills
- A primary and a backup light are required for night dives. Arrange equipment for deeper dives with the instructor.

Before you
dive in.
Do I need all 12 dives before the course?
No. For Specialty Diver recognition, you can complete them even after finishing both specialisations. Entry requires OWD or equivalent and an age of at least 15 years.
Do I have to complete both courses at the same time?
No. You arrange the order and dates individually.
How do I arrange the start?

Can I study in English as well?
Yes, English materials are also available and, by arrangement, an English-speaking instructor.
How long do I have access to the materials?
Once activated, they remain yours permanently. We usually activate access within one working day after payment.

end with us.
Divers Direct regularly organises one-day and weekend Events and diving expeditions for members of its club. And you can continue with follow-on courses right at these events.

Our own 8m diving pit
We train in the deepest pit in the Czech Republic – at Aquapalace Praha in Čestlice. There we have ideal conditions for pool training, and it shows in our divers.
