    1. STEP 01 / 04

      Online preparation

      You work through the theory at your own pace and prepare for what you will later try in the water. Thanks to training in the pool and pit, you can start at any time of year.

    2. STEP 02 / 04

      With an instructor

      With an instructor, you will get to know the equipment, understand the context and prepare for the first practical skills. The theory will gradually take concrete shape.

    3. STEP 03 / 04

      At least 5 lessons

      In the pool and diving pit you will learn the basic skills and gain confidence in a protected environment. This will be followed by the next part of your journey to OWD.

    4. STEP 04 / 04

      Next step: OWD

      Referral includes theory and pool training. For OWD certification, you will still complete the required dives in open water. Completion is booked and paid for separately; please arrange handover of the materials and the conditions before the trip.

    Is Referral a completed OWD?

    No. The OWD certification is completed by the required open water dives.

    Does it include real diving?

    Yes. Training with scuba equipment takes place in a protected environment — a pool or a diving pit.

    Do I need my own equipment?

    No. We will lend you the equipment you need as part of the course.

    Can I study in English?

    Yes, the materials are also available in English. An English-speaking instructor can also be arranged. Please note that a different price applies.

    We train in the deepest pit in the Czech Republic – at Aquapalace Praha in Čestlice. There we have ideal conditions for pool training, and it shows in our divers.
