THIS IS HOW WE'LL ENJOY IT

    Instructor Pepíno’s perspective.

    Fish and food chains

Fish are disappearing from the oceans. Not because they have stopped existing, but because we catch them faster than their populations can recover. At the same time, overfishing affects not only the fish themselves – it changes entire food chains, disrupts the functioning of marine ecosystems and can also affect life far from the coast.

    Fishing methods and their impacts

How many fish are actually caught from the oceans today? Which species are most at risk, and what happens when the sea loses its biggest predators? We will also look at fishing methods, their impact on marine life and whether fishing can work without gradually draining the oceans.

    A more sustainable future

The oceans give us food, nutrients and living space for countless species. But overfishing significantly disrupts their balance and changes life beneath the surface. Come and find out with instructor Pepíno how fishing affects the oceans and why it is important to look for a path to a more sustainable future for them.
